CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program that uses various combinations of exercises. The majority of the workouts include cardiovascular training and weights. These different exercises may include olympic weight lifting, gymnastics, endurance, sprinting, and powerlifting. Our goal is to teach our members these skills so that they can be proficient in all areas of fitness.
Is CrossFit for me?
YES!!! CrossFit is for anyone that wants to take their fitness to the next level. Whether you're 20,30,40,50, or over 60, CrossFit is made to challenge people of all ages and abilities. We will work with you and any pre-existing injuries or limitations. There is no reason not to try it out.
What if I can't do some of the movements?
We understand that we all have different skill levels and abilities. There is always a modification to an exercise if it cannot be done or a person has an injury. Many people have knee, shoulder, ankle and back problems/injuries that do not allow them to do a handful of exercises. If that is the case, the trainer will modify the workout to fit with each individual person.
